The Puerto Rico Animal Welfare Society's (PAWS) mission is to reduce the number of homeless and abandoned companion animals in the northwest corner of Puerto Rico
Our first priority is to reduce the number of unwanted births. We accomplish this by making spay and neuter services affordable for those who might not otherwise spay or neuter their pets and for those who want to rescue a stray
ADOPTIONS/HELPING STRAYS is another goal for PAWS. We will help with the cost to spay or neuter puppies rescued from the street and we will help find them homes through the Pet Vet clinic, at our Walmart Adoption Days and two Saturdays a month at PetCo in Rio Piedas.
